Teresa and I are taking a "Staycation" this year- it's the new in thing! Instead of spending money on travel, when Matt & Judy Veatch went on vacation this year we house sat for them, or Teresa did rather, and I just kept her company.

Tonight we had a party... I grilled ranch burgers- it only seemed right to have a BBQ at the Veatch house! I've never grilled for so many people before... I put ten burgers on, and their dripping nearly put the fire out! I was a little concerned that they'd be able to cook completely, but everything was okay and the guests were happy and complementary.

After eating we played Pictionary, and then late into the evening Teresa, Marg, Marcella & I played hide'n-g0-seek.... in the dark! It was so completely awesome! Marcella ran into a door, and Marg nearly fell down the stairs, but everyone survived and had lots of fun.
